What is on Your Fall Bucket List?  The Boys Club invites you to take part in our fall activities! We are looking forward to an active fall season with the return of some of our favorite programs plus some brand new offerings in the Learning Center,  Arts & Crafts and Recreation Departments. October is National Anti-Bully Month and we have partnered with Cartoon Network in their Speak Up Campaign (see details below). Join in the fun and “Hang With Us” at our Halloween Carnival and Haunted House on Oct. 29th. Plus, the Flag Football Camp is now in full swing and wrestling will begin in November! There are so many ways to get involved, put the Boys Club on your bucket list and help support our Youth. Anti-Bully Speak-Up Campaign!
The Boys Club is a proud partner of the National Anti-Bully Speak Up campaign. October is National Anti-Bully month and we will kick-off our Anti-Bullying program on Oct. 14th. Throughout the year we will focus on educating the Boys about how to speak-up and stand-up when they see bullying.

Club Tech is back with Movie Makers, Game Starters and new this wint
er, Robo-Tech!  Movie Makers helps members learn how to write screenplays, film their own movies, and edit their raw footage into a finished piece. Game Starters teaches the kids how to create their own video games and begins November 12th. Robo-Tech is a brand new robot-building program that  is scheduled for a late January start.New Educational and Fine Arts programs include: Science Guys, fun science experiments; Anchormen, new digital news program and Artist of the Month – a chance for Club members to be recognized for their creative efforts & talent.


Our favorite fall programs all begin this month including: Power Hour, homework help & tutoring; Lego Engineers, begins October 7th and Photography Club, clay, painting, drawing, sculpture and craft sessions.

Junior Youth Council is now in session and seeking Club members ages 11 – 13 who want to run their own small group club and develop leadership skills by participating in fundraising, event planning, Club decision making and special events. We recently held a fun video game day, in our new state-of-the-art gaming room, to raise money for the Siouxland Humane Society.

Members entering 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade are eligible to join our Free Wrestling Camp held at the Boys Club. The Camp will run every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. starting November 5th. Parents, please see the office for registration.
