The Boys Club of Sioux Unit Director, Pat Amundson, has been building LEGO structures for over 16 years. His favorite works include replicas of actual historic buildings dating back to 1870 from the Siouxland area. Mr. Amundson is placing over 30 LEGO structures on a free exhibit at the South Sioux City Library for the entire month of February. He will also be hosting two free LEGO Imagination Building Workshops on Feb. 15 and 22 at 1:00 p.m. along with a LEGO building contest on Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m.

Pat has dedicated the last 18 years of his life to helping Siouxland area boys learn and grow at the Boys Club of Sioux City. He is looking forward to bringing the Boys Club Members to the exhibit and teaching them about his passion for LEGO engineering. This will be Pat’s third LEGO Exhibit at the Library and remembers in 2011 when a Mom asked him if he was the “LEGO Guy”. She said that her autistic son attended one of his free workshops and it was the best thing that ever happened to him. Her son found a new passion in the art of  LEGO building.
